I live in Floida so it wont be to cold.
But it kinda help me
thank you very much
No, it just takes more time to train him well. Bull terriers are more stubborn, as well as all other terrier types and bulldog types. Retrievers are more into pleasing you, and well…. they are smarter. Or maybe try attention training first.
xD thanks for the advice. It is an interesting example of using Hurry up!! funny to think bout that situation haha..
Bull terriers I have found are extremely hard to train and most stuff you could use on a lab or retriever is out the window.
My Bichon female Zoey she is so well housebroken. She knows when its time to go outside. She lets me know by looking at me or she will bark. I never had troubles training my dog she was so easy.
just be consistant and patient.
What worked for me……as I was living a frigid winter environment…..so it is really important for the dog to go on command. When you first go out.just stand in one place with dog on leash in area where you want them to do their business..no playing or walking..use the command word..but no other words. Once the dog goes….praise the dog. It may take a bit of standing at first be VERY patient you will be so happy you did. Don’t play or walk the dog until he goes reward for going on command.
This advice helped my dog, but my husband has a long way to go….
has not worked for my bull terrier so far i take him out and he goes i have to wait or play hard with em then he goes but thanks for the good vid hope it helps others
this was very helpful. thank you so much for this.
different dogs take different times to learn comands. I know it works though cause my aunts 2 shih tzus (which are a very stubborn breed) “go” on comand!
it’s because his pee/poo scents outside o.o when u keep him inside long enoguh he wil pe inside
doesnt really work i’ve tryed teaching my dog for 3 weeks almost but still he goes when ever he feels like it… wut am i doing wrong -.- ” ? every time i see him sniffing for a spot i say the words then he goes i shut up then he finishes and i praise.. but still dont work .. help ?
My dog will only poo or *** in the field outside my house! I never even trained him to do t his lol. At least I don’t have to clean up after him!
good thanks
You may need to increase the amount to times that you take your dog out in the day. Also, breaking your dogs feeding up into to two smaller portions once during the day and once at night. Leaving ice cubes in the water tray instead of water will decrease the amount of *** produced lessening the need of the dog to go. They will still get the water needed from the ice, but it will be processed differently in the body. I hope these tips help.
like once in the morning once in the evening and once 20mins after his dinner
How often do you take your dog out and when do you feed him/her? Both of these factors can effect bathroom time for a dog.
i’ve tryed doing this for 3 weeks almost ,my dog still doesnt pee/poop on command he only knows how to not *** inside home -.- ” he only pees when ever he feels like it
ty trying to get our little puppy to go outside because at first we trained her to go on a mat in our house, (bad idea) so now were trying to get her to go outside
We’ve cued them with words, but didn’t know to wait until after they were done going to reward the behavior. I’ll try what you’re saying, especially with our new 3 month old pup, and see how it goes. Thanks for posting this video!
